Assistant General Manager
Chris Weber, A Minneapolis, MN native, began his career in food and beverage at the age of 15, working as a server’s assistant at the Chianti Grill in Minneapolis. In 2008, Chris moved to Northern Minnesota to play Junior Ice Hockey, after graduating high school. Chris then returned to Minneapolis in 2010 and joined the opening team of Porter Creek Hardwood Grill training staff, and then went on to work at Sushi Tango as a server. In 2012, looking to trade in cold weather for the beach, Chris relocated to Charleston, SC.
Chris joined the team at O-Ku in 2012 as a server’s assistant, and was soon promoted to server and trainer and then to Assistant General Manager. Chris is currently working towards becoming a certified Sommelier and was recently named the Indigo Road’s 2014 Front of House Employee of the Year. His positive energy and passion are part of what make him an exceptional leader and employee.
